Last updated: May 27, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of PrepPilot, an independent LSAT-style practice and analytics platform. By using PrepPilot, creating an account, or accessing any part of the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use PrepPilot.
2. Educational Purpose Only
PrepPilot is provided for educational and self-study purposes only. PrepPilot does not guarantee any LSAT score, score improvement, law school admission result, scholarship, employment outcome, or academic result. Score estimates, analytics, and study recommendations are approximate and should not be treated as official predictions.
3. Independent and Unofficial LSAT-Style Content
PrepPilot is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by the Law School Admission Council, LSAC, LawHub, or any official LSAT administrator. “LSAT” is used only to describe the type of educational preparation offered.
Unless otherwise stated, PrepPilot questions, explanations, passages, analytics, and study tools are original LSAT-style materials. PrepPilot does not claim that its materials are actual official LSAT questions.
4. Beta Product Notice
PrepPilot may be offered as a beta or early-stage product. Features may change, break, be removed, or become unavailable. Data may be modified or deleted as part of development, maintenance, bug fixes, abuse prevention, or product improvements.
5. Accounts and Security
You may use certain features in guest mode, but saved progress across devices may require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate account information and to notify PrepPilot if you believe your account has been compromised.
6. User Progress and Data
PrepPilot may save your question attempts, selected answers, flagged questions, score estimates, full-test history, timestamps, and related analytics. PrepPilot aims to preserve saved progress but does not guarantee uninterrupted access, permanent storage, or error-free analytics.
You grant PrepPilot permission to process your study data as needed to provide the service, maintain your account, generate analytics, prevent abuse, and improve the product, consistent with the Privacy Policy.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse PrepPilot. Prohibited conduct includes:
- Accessing or attempting to access another user's account or data.
- Scraping, crawling, bulk exporting, or mass copying content.
- Reselling, redistributing, or republishing PrepPilot content without permission.
- Reverse engineering, bypassing access controls, or attacking the service.
- Using automated tools to overload, spam, or disrupt PrepPilot.
- Using PrepPilot for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes.
8. Intellectual Property
PrepPilot and its original content, design, code, question materials, explanations, study tools, and analytics are owned by PrepPilot or its owner, except for third-party services, marks, or materials referenced for interoperability or descriptive purposes.
Subject to these Terms, you may use PrepPilot for personal, non-commercial study. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, license, or create competing datasets from PrepPilot content without written permission.
9. Subscriptions, Payments, and Refunds
PrepPilot may currently be offered for free or as a beta product. If paid subscriptions, trials, or premium features are introduced, additional billing terms may apply, including pricing, renewal, cancellation, failed payment, and refund terms. Payment processing may be handled by a third-party payment provider.
Unless a separate refund policy states otherwise, fees for future paid features may be non-refundable except where required by law.
10. Third-Party Services
PrepPilot may rely on third-party services such as Supabase, Vercel, GitHub, and future payment processors. PrepPilot is not responsible for third-party service interruptions, policies, security incidents, or changes outside PrepPilot's control.
11. Disclaimers
PrepPilot is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrepPilot disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrepPilot and its owner will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including lost profits, lost data, lost study progress, test outcomes, admissions outcomes, or reliance on score estimates or analytics.
13. Termination
PrepPilot may suspend or terminate access to the service at any time if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for the service or other users, or used the platform in an abusive or unlawful way. You may stop using PrepPilot at any time.
14. Changes to These Terms
PrepPilot may update these Terms as the product changes. If changes are material, we may provide notice through the website or by other reasonable means. Continued use of PrepPilot after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where PrepPilot's owner is located, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
